All the issues I found so far
In general the game has been pretty stable; just 2 crash and it is a good thing.

Although there are many annoyances that I did find in this game; which I hope will be patched.

- When starting in the depot, the only thing you do is to open the doors/unlock them, then off you go; there is no gas requrements, no schedule. Once done, there is no cleaning, no fixing damages, no cleanup (it is a rare event). That's a bit dull; considering you own the place.

- Starting from the depot; the light for the driver is always already selected.

- Some bus are really dark, when you go check for tickets, it is easy to totally miss people. Adding some stronger lights would help.

- Add variety to NPC; they are more than BS16, but still you get clones all the time. Randomize colors for clothes and use different hair styles; in that way you increase the number of combinations.

- If there are wheelchair users, and your bus does not have a ramp, you just get the penalty for customer left behind.

- night driving and dusk driving are underwhelming due to the lack of lighting and dynamic lights. I get that the framerate would drop with dynamic light instead than lightmaps, but the map is either too dark or unbelievably bright for dusk, and the front bus lights are inadequate, same goes for street lights

- AI is atrocious. Seems like all the Unreal Engine games use the same car AI; which is at times behaving decently, while other times does not. For example, me turning on the signal to leave a stop, will result in the rear car always stopping; this is not realistic. Same for intersections, where cars just ram you without respect the right of way that you have; or while merging they don't care and rear-end you.

- Add roadlights; rundabout are fine but on crossing in certain areas, the AI just get stuck, and it looks like yet another big AI car mess, like in Fernbus. Either you give the AI agents a range for their behaviors, or put roadlights to compensate for that.

- Z fighting in some areas, textures flicker.

- Use the horn while driving may cause stutter. At times the horn get stuck

- At the end of a route, if you drive back to the depot, the framerate goes in the 10-ish range.

- dynamic events are not so random; having the slider in the middle result in 2 out of 10 times you drive a route; while the expectations should be 50/50. Changing the value does not reflect consistently with what you get in game.

- Add more dynamic events; something that in fact affect your drive schedule on the fly, and force players to go for an alternate route

- Potholes are there forever; spawn them at random on the map; to add variety; and mark them clearly; it is not believable that in a city that has no trash anywhere, the roads have such deep potholes that could break an axle; and that persist between driving sessions.

- No easy way to see the AI drivers results; there is no real understanding of what they do, beside drive your bus when you drive yours, and put money in your account when the summary screen appear.

- Driving model needs some work; the bus drive like a car with higher mass; which is not how it is in reality.

- Bus stop brake does not do anything.

- The bus does not react to uphill or downhill forces; it slow down or speed up but if you are parked, it won't move even with the brake off.

- Speed cameras trigger at times even if you have the speed limiter on.

- Passengers get too close to the edge of the sidewalk, which may end up in the bus hit them while approaching.

- Passengers AI need some work; they wander around a bit then they go back. Would be more realistic to have them go through navpoints.

- There are no stores or other places with AI activities; driving in more populated areas, or in areas with POI, would be more realistic and help to figure out what is the stop that get more customers.

- Walking around is useless; there is nothing to do, beside open the doors or run out of the bus to give to customers, what they forgot on the bus. In MP it is barely useful since you can check tickets; but beyond that; there is no real usefulness in walking around the city, since there are no activities.
You could add more activities; like chage a tire, fix something on the bus; fill gas; help someone involved in an accident...there are so many things you can actually do.

These are the issues I found more consistent with my play sessions; I did avoid to mention the one-off issues. Considering that the game has just shipped, I would say it is in a decent state.

Good list. I just wanna add a small one.

- All of the buses have a max speed of 84kph with the speed limiter off and a max speed equivalent to the speed limit with the speed limiter on, so, driving on the motorway, the bus goes faster with the speed limiter on than without; it's unrealistic.

And yellow light is too short! I have no idea why game developers make them this way, but this is a very common flaw: ETS 2 and ATS have 2 seconds yellow by default, Bus Simulator 18 seems to have the same.

A standard human reaction time is considered to be 1 second (that is the time between seeing a danger and starting to perform actions to avoid it). That leaves less than 1 second of actually braking to stop at a red light. And every traffic light is not supposed to be a reaction test...

IRL yellow in green-to-red cycle is at least 3 seconds (meaning double time for actual stopping), but usually longer, about 4-5 seconds.

There are so few roadights that I did not even notice the transition time. Not sure about EU, but I think that there is a 3-7s period for yellow to red; at least in USA.

I just wish AI was better; if that is something that can't be done, then would be welcome to see more roadlights.

I cam on this problem: Stopt add the bus stop and now one is geting of.
They are just standing their and no one can anter the bus.....so I have to restart or can I do someting to let them walk?

Great ideas to add to the game.

I would also add the ability to give our AI drivers commands like ours like going round trip, the ability to create express/limiteds from our routes on top of short turns, the ability to buy plots of land for garages or depots. They also need to remove the “oversaturated” i symbol because since all ai drivers go around in a loop those stops aren’t actually “oversaturated” well maybe Main station but other than that no. There should be busses at whatever depot you spawn at because not every bus is used during every run. Lastly, Two dynamic events I want to see are one, when you finish a run on some occasions you are asked to drive to a waypoint and handover a bus to a different driver who’s bus is not working second, an event where when similar to how you are told about a national holiday one spawn event could be you are told that a driver can’t finish a run and you are asked if you can do it you just say yes or no, if you say no you don’t gain the full weekly revenue from that route, if you say yes you just head out the depot and ride whatever route you need to in order to get to the start point.

Also move the Street light in the corner of a turn, because it is to close in the corner.
Real life this does not happen!

Example I'm driving and take a right, I have to go the an other lane so I do not hit it.

I like AI drivers being on the map, althugh I would also like to pick up some of these drivers as AI for ticketing; or maybe they can drive and I ticket people, jumping from a line to another. Which is impossible at the moment because there is no schedule at all in the game.

The game has a good setup, I just want the game to be more "alive" and feel less like I am alone. Multiplayer is cool but you need to sync up with people, and at times, schedule is in the way

Dynamic events are also really sorely missed; I never broke the bus, never had to refuel, never had to fix a tire; never had to call backup because we needed to move passenges from a broken bus to another. These are all things I have personally experienced as passenger; so would like to see them in game.

The depot is useless; we could have some activity in there; I would not mind spend time to fix my bus or have a worker fix it for me, so I can look at him/her doing the job :)

But I get that this is an arcade game after all; so most of the ideas people have, when thinking about a simulation, are not what this game is going for. I guess with the 2020 version maybe there will be improvements on this aspect; unless someone makes a real bus simulator before 2020
