-Dynamic weather
-Free Roam
-option to change speed units to mph on map
-set your own timetable targets for created routes
-more use for the 5c on ticket machine
-Daily, Weekly and Monthly challenges with leaderboard and rewards
-beable to place in game ads on buses and still have your own design like on BS16
-Set own bus ticket prices with cap limit
1.Further improvement of AI. That is from what I noticed in the game (maybe I just suck at driving and all but still ;) )
1.A.Overtaking cars would go back into lane just in front of the bus, while slowing down and leaving me with no time to react. Having this ocassionally is fine but from what I saw it would almost always be the same scenario. I pay attention to the road ahead I notice car on my right and it slams back into the lane. I mean over time I learned to pay attention to that, but it still happens. And I know it's extra coding but having variety of behaviors would be great.
1.B.Pedestrians would basically keep on walking on the crossing areas no matter if cars are moving or not. At times I hit one when I started to move and one "decided" to cross the road right in front. Again ocassional ones are fine but they seem like zombies.
2.Fines for damage I believe could be polished out. It seems to me that I can have a head on collision driving about 40 KM/H and pay under $2000 and then what seems to be minor scratch and have a bill for $40000, which at times there is no way to make up during the route. Maybe have a review of what have happened and what "got damaged" and all that. Maybe even with video evidence, as while I'm driving I can't always see what happened and since it's just a game there are no visual evidences to examine afterwards.
3.With connection with 2 maybe having a recording of a route itself that could be saved later on to a hard drive? Say have 10 last routes driven in game kept by the game itself and then the player can save them for good if wanting to, without the need of outside software.
4.Being able to assign drivers to shifts. Say day, night and weekend shift and also from which end of the route the driver starts.
5.Being able to make loop routes especially for the drivers and having clockwise/counterclockwise dirrections in shift scheduling.
6.All those things other mentioned. Those 5 either bugged me the most or I missed in other posts. Keep on doing great work ;)
+1
1.Name the stop according to yourself (something like "Main Station" no no no it wold be "Station"
2.Reporting stops by themselves
Sorry for grammar its from translator :D
(And at Connected the last mission...I can't complete it
Yes and you can do a map of Sunny Springs :))
Hallo Heartchers
was für Ideen hättest denn du?
The main problems
Endgame
This is one of the main problems, but it deserves it’s own section! I finished all the missions, now I only have to get the previously bugged Ka-ching and to get to level 25. But what can I do afterwards? I see no real possibility to extend the game into an endless mode as it is now. Why would I drive the same routes over and over, when I can not do a thing with the ridiculous amount of money that I get. Sure, I will play around with the lines and possibly delete all of them just to create better optimized ones. But the current level cap means that I will have to create a ton of lines with only the minimum four stops, so that I can have the most drivers working for me. Sure, I can try to make them longer by having one stop in the city, one in the south, one somewhere far east and one somewhere north. But that’s not very realistic, even for express lines.
Some ideas for fixing this:
Vehicles
Simulation
Irritating penalties
UI, content
- I already mentioned the front door boarding only option.
- Clear overview of buses: which bus is used by which line and driver, maybe some sorting – or at least a filter for currently not assigned buses.
- Time and weather: there should be separate settings for these, and random should be one of them in both cases. There should be a lot more finetuning for time (either a real clock or more options, not just day and night). Dynamic weather would be nice.
Map
Sorry for the wall of text, I know some of these have already been mentioned, but I thought I could reaffirm those. I do see great potential in this game. I love the buses, the concept, the accessibility. The city is beautiful and nicely crafted. I love that the game comes with head-tracking support at launch. I feel like it has the same chance as ETS2 did five years ago. It was clearly not the great sim that it is today, but it was a solid foundation to build upon – and they did. The foundation is there in this case as well, but it still needs work, or it will not live long and prosper. I would love if BS18 could be improved to the point, where it is an amazing sim and a joy to play. Then it would rule this niche segment.
- To be able to choose to only appear virtual mirror of one side or another
And what I want:
Passangers switch busses at the busstops.
