I made the next route that worked for me and also for the 10 stop from the bus terminus:
1 Central Bus Station
2 City Hall
3 Amber Gate
4 Main Station
5 Horsemill Alley
6 Punic Alley
7 Town Hall Alley
8 Cathedral - City Center
Lucky I had 2 SNG busses from 2 routes I could remove, 1 extra and 1 I drove myself.
So only had to buy a new SNG bus and hire a driver.

Hi guys, I’m on the this mission and I can’t actually assign buses or drivers to the route after I’ve driven it, did you have any issues like this?

Why not? What happens exactly? Are there enough free drivers and buses available in your company?

I had the same problem. What worked for me: i sold all long buses from my garage. After that i could assign drivers and buses for routes in Old town.
