i thought thoswe drivers will drive for you if you hire a driver?>

They will.
After you hire them you need to assign them to the rout you want them to drive.
Go to the map screen, select the rout you want your driver to drive.
Look for a icon on that rout (looks like a man in a hat) and klick it.
Now select a driver from the left list and a buss from the right list.
Now go back to the map screen and you should se the number 1 next to the man in a hat symbol and a 1 next to the buss symbal.
Now you are ready to go.
Your drivers only work when you work, so go drive a route.
Then when you are done, in the screen showing how well you did, you will find the income from your hired driver aswell.

Also: a driver can only be assigned to drive a route once you also have successfully completed driving that route yourself at least once.
