Fernbus vs Omni vs This game?
So to people who may own other bus simulators, I have a question, do you think this game will be easier to control and play compared to Fernbus?

I got Fernbus a while back and I quickly stopped playing the game cause of too many buttons and dodgy gameplay. So I was hoping that this game would be easier to play and manage compared to Fernbus. I just want a drive and enjoy, and not a game where I gotta make every passenger happy you know :D

It sure is, I couldn't play the game cause there was too much hassle with it. Hopefully the controls will be good in this game :D

You found Fernbus difficult?????????????????? Sounds more like a tolerence and patience issue to me. Don't ever buy the fantastic Omsi otherwise you'll melt. :steamhappy:
Yeah I did, I've had ADHD my whole life along with other issues to funtion as a normal person. So for me Fernbus is very difficult to understand. Maybe I didn't give it enough time, but unless the game is informative from the get go it isn't really worth investing time into it. I'd rather wait until another developer makes a game that might fix the issues I have :)

But you said in your original comment that Fernbus has too many buttons and dodgy gameplay, what the heck is that supposed to mean?? Then you go on to say in another comment that the game isn't informative enough. What do you mean,..wasn't informative enough??

Fernbus is childsplay compared to Omsi and you'll still have buttons and configurations to do in Bus Sim 18.

All simulators require a degree of patience and tolerence to learn no matter how light or in-depth each one might be which will involve reading the manual and watching some YouTube videos. Maybe you're right, with regards to Fernbus, you just didn't give it enough time.

Fernbus has a a button for every single function inside the bus, I didn't expect the game to require you to use every single one of them. I know it's a simulator game, and Fernbus definitely owns the title of a simulator game. And I thought you could play the game without needing all of them, like Euro Truck Simulator 2. But in Fernbus you gotta make the travelers happy with temperature, radio and so on. The whole process of going from point A to point B felt overwhelming to me. Even though it makes complete sense, I just wanted a kindergarden version, I just wanna drive the bus and that's it.

As for the whole informative point, I expected more information in the game I guess. So many other games usually nag on you for a long time about button and controls.

Recently content creators on YouTube have recieved a copy of Bus Simulator 18 to advertise and play the game early. And the videos they make of this game already makes this look more fun compared to Fernbus. This game looks the like how I thought Fernbus was going to be. Not every bus simulator game is the same, what I find difficult others find easy right.

I have Farming Simulator 17, American Truck Simulator, Euro Truck Simulator 2 and Cities Skylines and neither of those games were difficult to understand at all. Even though a lot of people think they are.

Hey Dots,..

Thanks for your explanation. I hope Bus Sim 18 meets your expectations. If not, then don't forget that Steam have a two hour window for refunds if you're not comfortable with it. I think you're gonna love Bus Simulator 18 though and I'm also looking forward to getting it.

I sure hope so, and the developers has said there will be a simplified control scheme. So hopefully it'll be what I wish I guess. I think everyone is looking forward to this game!

another question: Driving Force GT is supported? x)
OMSI 2 is very complicated, fernbus is not bad but you need good pc plus there are not a lot of content....... This game looks best choice right now. Waiting for it.
