Either way, Denuvo is essentially a parasite of a DRM solution. Or rather a problem really... Most of the crap about it is usually not true (as in the link above, some of it is true, others are not, a couple is only a mixed bag), but seeing as the devs did choose to use it in this case... Simply purchasing and refunding doesn't work. Especially since Valve continues to have semi-anti-consumer refund policies. (Its only partially anti-consumer - 2 hours is not enough time to demo a game anyway in large cases. Taking a cue from SCS Software with a proper demo is the best way to go about it with just enough content to try the game, but doesn't lock you. I'm not wasting money to demo a game when the whole concept of demos is being forgotten)
- Never heard of this.
- Never thought there should be something like this.
- I wouldn't even pirate this.
- Let it have Denuvo :)
But i don't get why developers are wasting money on denuvo instead of using that money to make a better product? We all know that denuvo doesn't help these days.
This .
Stating that it is a waste of cash is nonsense. If you want a game you should get a job and pay for it. Not expect that years of work, skill and effort put into a game should basically be released for free.
However, the rushing from a publisher onto an unpolished game to save time is worse for said game than DRM's.

CHANGE MY MIND
If its the same denuvo used on recent releases it can be cracked very quick if they want to. and i dont see how waiting from some days to a month for the game to be available for free will make pirates pay.
And some times its just such a pain for people who paid for it, when i moved to a new house i had no internet for a few days and i could not play any of my bought single player games that use Denuvo.
I really dont think its well spent money and time for a super DRM that will maybe keep people from stealing the game for some days.
OMG!!! You really couldn't wait a few days before you got the Internet connected which is one of your gripes about Denuvo! Seriously, there's plenty of other great things to do in life.
This. UE4 is million years light better than Unity, IF the developers know how to properly push it to its potential, since Unity is way more easy to work with. To the driving games issue, it doesn't really hurt on UE4 like it did on previous Unreal engines.
Concerning the Denuvo, i really don't see the point on wasting money with it for a game of this "size". It only compensates on AAA games...
You don't see past your own nose and rose glasses . Secondly - I don't answer to anyone , and am very comfortable .
