Stuck in Room 210 (spoilers) (solved)

After entering room 210, walking down the corridoor, entering the bedroom area , I walk by the radio with the cable connected to it to trigger the sequence of the gate lowering preventing exit, but beyond that, cannot interact with anything within the room.

The plug on the cable doesn't seem to want to be pulled out of the back of the radio, and the promt for interaction hasn't appeared anywhere else in the room, beyond that, I can reload from the checkpoint starting from the beginning of the room 210 sequence, but even after restarting the issue appears to persist.

Prior to this, travelled up the stairs from the lobby to the second floor, and proceeded to first check the walkway and investigate the rose, then move to the kitchen where I triggered the RC car investigation scene and collected a collectable. Sadly it's hard to recreate the conditions without restarting the whole game.

So that's a thing.

I think this is the point you are meant to tune the radio, the small dial at the top should be it.

Loving this game aesthetically; but man that knob should have given a pop up without having to aim so precisely. Wasn't certain if I was bugged. - Thank-you for the solution!
