The doll room (Apartment 202)
Whats the point of this room exactly? There's just a bunch of dolls with a creepy one at the center. Did I miss something other than the terminal in the corner?

Layers of Fear reference maybe, as its completely optional. Similarly dressed dolls feature throughout that game.

Though it does have one of the Fire & Sword: Spiders levels on that terminal.

I may be mistaken but I thought the doll's head moved towards the computer after I logged off. Also it is possible that it is not a doll but a human. Notice the unfinished bowl of food (poison) dribbled on the mouth and table.

I thought the head was Adam's severed head. Looks allot like Adam's head. It does turn it's head when you come off the terminal and turn around.

I believe this is a reference to the movie Dead Silence, as the antagonist in it is the spirit of a woman who collected dummies as she's a ventriloquist. A child publically humiliated her during one of her performances, and he disappeared shortly after. She was blamed for his disappearance and got executed. It is later revealed that she turned the boy into a puppet, much like the big puppet at the end of the room.

The Developers do like to use movie references in their games, especially in LoF 2. Just watched the trailer for Dead Silence and it is quite fitting you make the connection between game and movie.
