Missing something in Amir Nowak crime scene

Feels like I've scanned everything, but the "search the crime scene" quest is still in my quest log. Either it's a bug or I missed something. Is there one particularly hard to find thing?

the quest logs don't automatically resolve themselves until you leave the room sometimes, in my experience. unlike some other games it's not waiting for you to find the last tickbox to confirm you're done.

I got the same issue.
My detectors seem to register a second clue right next to the pills box behind Amir's Body though, but I can't seem to scan it nor even see it.

Same... I just continued and now the quest has gone away

It was most likely the bottle of painkillers behind Amir's head. I thought the same thing, but once I scanned them the case log updated.
