Had two playthroughs so far and this never happened to me... Although this section of the game can be quite confusing and you'll only be able to move closer to the servers when pressing the correct movement keys for the inside area (you won't be able to get closer when running against a wall)... So the indicator directs you to the already removed part? Are you certain it's really the one you're supposed to go to and not one of those you already took care of? The area is very confusing, after all... Did you try exiting and loading from the last checkpoint?
As you can see the game points me to the server on the floor. If there are only three servers which must be removed, then this must be a bug.
I removed the first server “blind” without any visual augmentation activated. If this was the cause the bug should be easy to reproduce, if one has the patience for it.
So, I must load my second to last game save… oh wait… autosave :-(.
Can you interact with any one of the servers regardless of the piece on the floor?
Once you took out the servers, you should be able to open a door nearby - maybe there's a chance you could already interact with it? I *think* it was right next to one of the servers.
I will file it as a bug. Thanks anyways.
Have you found any solutions for this problem? I've stuck on the same place, removed first server without scanner mode too.
AspyrJason, Aug 17, 1:22 PM CDT:
This is a known progression blocker.
It doesn't happen much, but when it does you will need to restart the game since there is no way to reload scenarios or checkpoints in the game.
Really sorry, but you are going to need to restart the game.
Please let me know if you have further questions or need anything else.

Yes, you must start from the beginning because of the auto save “feature”. In principle auto save is a good idea, if they would allow you to load saves from the last three checkpoints or so. I realize this would also allow you to undo decisions, which could negatively impact the narrative and/or experience of the game. But this should always be the players risk and choice. Anyways for as long as such bugs fly around (ever) a single game save is a bad design decision. The consequence of it is, that we spent two to four hours (depending on your style) playing the game for nothing.
Aspyr is lucky that no reviewer got stuck there. Look at what happened with Jim Sterling’s review of Hellblade.
If nothing else this teaches me once more to never buy a game on release.
