The Omega TX has 9 panels for input plus start and select. So yes, it should be able to do it just fine, at least for easy and normal.
I mean, considering Crypt of the Necrodancer has the same kind of features and the controls as just as complicated, there's definitely an audience for it. And there's plenty of people out there playing games that aren't meant for a dance pad ON a dance pad (like Nario). But yeah, it's not for everyone I guess.
