Decent game it could use some refining

it would be nice if the weapons you can buy would show a tooltip for which slots they go to... for new players

world maps are small and you find out your at the edge by basically being at the edge

maybe the map timer will get longer the further i play but so far it feels a bit to fast, the total play time for the maps feel like it's the end of match countdown timer for other games

so far their appears to be no permanent progression after matches besides the barrels you get, captain skill trees or something would be nice

Nice graphics and a good fresh idea to stand out in an already oversaturated market HOWEVER... Terrible execution.
I got stuck on level 2. TWO.
Like how am I supposed to progress in this game? Just dying over and over to unlock new abilities? The whole crew mechanic is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible. You spend your hard earned money to buy crew which slightly boost your stats and then you take a single hit and you lose 1 crew. It makes you want to play super passively which would work but YOU CANT AFFORD TO. You only got 30 seconds to score as much loot as you can. And in order to do that you need to stay close to the enemy but not too close cuz then you die or you lose crew (money). You cant select different characters - you are locked into one character for the whole level, you cant choose a difficulty. Enemy progression makes no sense whatsoever. You go from ships that die in 1 hit to these fish that take 15 hits to kill and they follow you around and try to ram you and eat your crew. But then next level ships again, but then next level mines. There aren't any collectibles while you are roaming around in the TINY map. Why is it so tiny? Just dozens of decisions that make no sense in an otherwise kinda fun to play game. Refunded.

I found the demo this week and really enjoyed it! I streamed the demo twice and NEW i needed to buy the full game! Full disclosure: i am a noob gamer at best. I don't know a lot about gaming and my logic often doesnt line up with game logic but im enjoying this game! I did have some questions like how come sometimes i can use my faction ability and sometimes i cant (not talking about reload time.) and what exactly the siren islands do for/to us. But i really enjoy playing this!
The flamethrower and ship stabber are music to my barbarian ears. I love being able to upgrade my weapons and such. I streamed the game after purchase today and enjoyed it even more! Though i feel like those dang crabs are op AF! I may have used a few sailor words...

Overall, I really recommend this game! Its a good time and will absolutely bring out the comedic worst in you! Do the devs have a discord?
