corrupted file crashes game and computer

it says to verify the integrity of this file.
I've tried reinstalling Deadlock twice, verifying files, restarting computer.
It either shows the error, crashes the game, or crashes my computer.

Same here, doesn't crash my PC but it crashes game + steam everytime

"- Try changing the Render API to another one. From Vulkan to DirectX or vice versa;
- Be sure to disable all undervolt. You could do this with software like MSI Afterburner or similar. Undervolt of the graphics card or CPU acceleration may negatively affect the game;

I've found the solution, i don't know if it works for every file but i had the same problem as you with that file : f:\steam\steamapps\common\deadlock\game\citadel\maps\ui . There were 3 files starting with “hero” and I deleted the files that were causing me problems and since then the game has been working correctly.
