New error after latest update

vulkan encountered unrecoverable error VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST

On Ubuntu 23 with latest nvidia drivers.

4070m 13900hx + 32 gb of ram lenovo gaming laptop.

Game was working perfect before this latest update which is like an hour old.

I set my graphics setting to vulkan instead of directx11 and this happened.

Yea, maybe try Direct3d and see if it persists.
Also I'd suggest opening a ticket on the official forums, I had the game run nice on my old 1060, then after an update I had like 8-10 fps, at least that's what I did

Once I deleted the settings, directory will work perfectly because I went back to direc 3D

How did you delete the game settings? i'm having the same problem after I switch it to Vulkan. Now, I can't deadlock to switch it back to DirectX 11.

U have to go to your steam apps directory and delete the entire directory.

Then reinstall the game and you'll have the default settings
