Strong Suggestions
Hello Developer,

I have been playing the game for a few hours, got to a few different areas, leveled up my health once, etc. and would like to make a few suggestions. Normally, I wouldn't be so harsh with my criticism. Please understand that I do so only because I want so much to enjoy the game, but cannot due to the following issues.

1. Sword combinatons. This is a fatal flaw currently. Currently, you can slash or heavy slash. Doesn't matter if you push the stick forward, backward, to the side, leave it alone, jump, etc. I realize you may be trying to connect swordplay options to styles, but even the most basic style MUST include options for your attacks. For example, include a thrust for pushing the stick forward and hitting weak attack, include a jump attack in some form, etc. Mix it up and have different styles include different attacks for each movement of the stick combined with a weak or strong attack. The more the better!!

2. Block or parry options. This is another fatal flaw. I realize you can clash swords, but without a parry or block option, the game gets boring really quickly. Combat now consists of moving to the opponent until they slash then trying to get in to hit them. You can roll past them but due to #3, this really isn't a good option.

3. Last critical flaw is the stamina regeneration. It is way too slow. I get that you have added the stamina bottles or some such, but the overall system needs an overhaul. Honestly, I think you could double the stamina regeneration as it stands and it would still be on the slow side. The effect of super slow stamina regen is that the player just has to stand back waiting for it to regenerate, which severely detracts from the fun factor over time.

There are others, but until these issues are fixed, sadly I won't be playing the game. The tragedy is that you have a really good backbone here and I want so much to enjoy the gameplay. Thanks for making the game and I sincerely hope you make some changes.

Great suggestions we will see what we can do about them. Since we are ending development on Blade & Bones this kinda of features are hard to be implemented into the game but we will try our best.

So does this mean that it's dead or out of development already? I want to buy the game but it looks like there may still be some things that need work on. Thx.

Combat in general is super laggy. a fast attack shouldnt have 2+ seconds of end delay before you can act again on the first swing from full stamina
