Is this game made to be bad?

Not trying to be insulting. I'm just legit trying to get information amongst the sea of russian discussions...

Mostly because there are hints of a good game here, with the customization and pixel art stuff. I'm a sucker for that type of games. But this game also has so many design choices that baffle the heck out of me (like the endless wasteland walking, how easy it is to die, the SLOOOOW tutorial, even with Shift pressed), that i can't believe were not intentional.

And before anything, i'm perfectly fine with a hard game. Metro, STALKER....i'm no stranger to hard games. But there's a difference between dying from legit difficulty to dying from typing something the game magically expects you to know

Yeah, this game is a joke. It made by famous person on russian youtube and twitch - Maddyson. Underground Man is more a fan-service for Maddyson's community than just a game. Sometimes it is boring and hard to play, but I think the game can give you an unusual experience.

Heh, guess that explains it.

I was quite shocked too when i arrived at Chapter 3, died (stupid trap), and realized it had a continue option. I even shouted aloud "IT SAVED MY PROGRESS!".


But hey, it has been giving me an unusual experience alright. In a good way so far
