Latest Status! (Rescue Bear Operation)

Wanted to check in & thank all 17,000+ of you for playing!!! (Individually if I could!!!)
I hope you're all still having fun with Rescue Bear!

Had some friends over this past weekend playing Rescue Bear & their kids just love it! I find the kids end up trying to out-do one another for most points. (Tree fires put out... and animals saved). So.. it's encouraging to see kids still loving the game the way they do!

Wanted to drop a few notes wrt the status of things.

1) I've had delays on posting the latest build. The conundrum comes back to - do I spend a few ~$1000 to make a minor change to remove the Fire-Line animation - only to have to put it back in for a later build? I honestly don't have the funds to do that at the moment. So...things may stay where they are. <sigh>

2) I'm a VERY transparent person. So.... of the 17,000+ players... I've only had upwards of $32 in revenue made from the DLC. So... perhaps that's normal for a Steam Early Access game... I don't know? Either my DLC isn't appealing enough .. and that's good information to have; and or.... I need to go back to the drawing board & modulate expectations accordingly. Either way..it's all good. However; to make necessary changes - moving forward - I do need more funding. As I've mentioned before... I hope to do a Kick Starter or the like. Please stay tuned.

Thank you Pink Lily! Not giving up!!!! Been extremely busy! It's always great to hear positive feedback!
I'll be meeting with the Dev Team this week to get some in game assets ready for promotion. In short.... I'm dying to get this game fully released.

I think beside the price and the DLC content, is also you have a game with bears (and thus quickly make it a "kids" game) that already scares off a large amount of adult players and kids who already play Fallout 4 and Skyrim.
Look at the Teddy Floppy games, nice games on itself, but also gets the same stamp.

About DLC people usually want to see something worth their money, as in big, as in something that will lengthen their game, or some soundtrack or artwork.
Sometimes people will want to support a dev, but when you go over >5 for an outfit, it's gonna be hard.

Maybe advertise yourself by putting a DLC in some bundle? Give some copies away on steamgifts? I dunno.

I don't have money else i would have bought something too (and be nice to have this constantly in my library even though i haven't played it yet) but any game with a bear has a place in my heart. <3
