Of course Voidrunner was like a baby for us. And we have experienced lots of unfortunate events in 5 years. The struggle in indie game development is very intense and we just thankful that we are still developing games. For Voidrunner; it's still a dream for us and maybe in future we can create a better game. As you all know the game had no technical or design issues. We just needed more players and an engaging community. And that means an impressive marketing budget as well as an army of streamers. In an age that even EA Games has to pay a million dollar to a single streamer to get their game on the front of Twitch; you can understand that this is a game that we can not win.... at least for now.
So sorry to tell you all this but this is the truth. We had given our years of our lives to this project and it became a great learning curve for us in the gaming industry and business overall. We did learn how to survive. But alas, our game couldn't. But again; it's not a perma-death. And if we have enough power to resurrect it; we will. Thank you all for your understanding.
