Pocket TD was built to be played on a controller, and the Steam Deck was on our list from the start. Everything in the game works with any controller.

Native on the Deck. On a Deck the game runs at 90+ FPS and allows for various HUD zoom levels.

Made for a controller. The left stick snaps a cursor from tile to tile, the right stick pans the map, and pulling the left trigger opens a radial build menu: let go to place the tower. Hold the right trigger to call the next wave early, and hold View to move through the HUD with the D-pad. Every menu works with the pad, the button prompts follow the controller in your hands, and you can rebind any button. We ship Steam Input layouts for Steam Deck, Xbox, PlayStation 4 and 5, Switch Pro and the Steam Controller.

Made for short sessions. Put the Deck to sleep and the run pauses. Quit mid-run and you can pick up the same run later. Your progress follows you between your PC and your Deck through Steam Cloud, and the demo’s progress carries into the full game.

Steam Machine. On the big screen the same controller-first design carries over unchanged, from the main menu to the last boss wave.
