Helping Horatio, Bernardo & Gertrude? [SPOILERS]
Just a couple of questions about helping the people in Elsinore.

Is there any way to help Queen Gertrude with her nightmares or to get her Amulet back? What is she actually looking for in the King's room? A couple of hearsay options cause her despair then commit suicide. Is there a way of talking her down off the walls once she's in that mindset?

What's the best resolution for Bernardo and Katherine? King Claudius is controlling and blackmailing Bernardo with his information about Katherine, and Bernardo is in a state of shame that allows him to be controlled. Is there a way to have Laertes, Hamlet and Horatio speak to Bernardo without him shattering? Can he ever take Ophelia's side over King Claudius?

What do you guys think about intervening with Horatio over his unrequited love for Hamlet? The Guildenstern ladies (forgot their names) can help him confront what he's feeling and help him to move on.

Do any of these hearsay options relate to any of the quests or endings?

So, what's the "best" ending for each character is inherently subjective. And the scenes you've mentioned are, to my knowledge, entirely plot-optional.

I haven't found any way to help Gertrude, unfortunately. As for suicide, the way to prevent her death is to /not/ talk to her about those things.

Regarding Bernardo: sharing his secret without permission, even to his friends, is actually pretty dang rude. Horatio will call you out on this, if you tell him about it. So I think the "best" ending would be to keep his secret confidential. (I also don't get the impression that Claudius is blackmailing Bernardo with this information -- I think Bernardo sides with Claudius primarily out of loyalty to the throne.) If you haven't tried yet, telling *just* Horatio does lead to a heartwarming scene.

I found that when Claudius was going to kill me at one point, my letting Bernardo know that his Katherine life was supported and everyone still loved him made him stay with me and save me from Claudius killing me. Also, even tho he's pissed off, when I told Hamlet, Hamlet showered a lot of love on him (as did Laertes), which was pretty awesome.
Also telling Rosie about Horatio's love for Hamlet gets him to spill his heart to Ham

Also yes, Claudius is blackmailing him , there is a scene where he gives Bernardo a letter stating Gertrude's sister died and makes Bernardo hide it from her and threatens to tell people about Bernardo's life if he doesn't do it.
