Some retroactivre questions about puzzles [spoilers]
Hey guys, just completed the game. Fantastic experience, I had some minor gripes here and there (I might post a review a bit later), but overall it was very impressive, and all the more due the fact that the development team was so small. Congrats to pulling this off from a fellow Hungarian, and I really appreciate that you were always available to give a nudge to stuck players. :)

There were some places in the game where I wasn't sure what exactly happened or what the intended progression was, so I'd have some questions about parts that were bugging me.

1. Was any of the berry juices supposed to have any effect besides the one that allows you see through red paint? I kept expecting especially the speed-related ones to come into play. At the part where you need to replace the battery with the bucket, I was convinced that I would have to increase my speed there.

2. When you are underwater in the diving suit, what did those three switches do? Where would I have been stopped if I hadn't pressed them?

3. In the Lower Mechanics, when you enter through doorway I, all you are able to do is press a button. What did that button do? Is the "staircase" part of the Mechanics only movable once that button is pressed?

4. This is related to story rather than puzzles. So, the Professor left the Island through the same artificial portal that we did, right? Then how did he arrange everything (batteries and so on) into place for us to find? :) I can suspend my disbelief in that regard, but is there actually an explanation for that or is it just something like "he had a lot of shortcuts on the island that we were unaware of"?

Hey aklein, thank you for the feedback :)

1: Our initial idea was to use the speed-potion in the Mines, at the bridge. You still can get over to the other side with the potion (without solving the magnet puzzle), but it needed way too much agility, so we added option B; the magnet puzzle. Also, one of our players reported that he solved the battery-bucket puzzle with the speed potion, which is funny, because we never knew it was possible.

2: The switches are there to seal the leaks on the pipe. You can see that there are three bubbling outlets on the top of the pipe outside, you seal those with the levers. This is needed so the power can travel to and energize the Disk-part in the underwater hideaway.

3: There is a small camera animation which looks at the box on the other side, it has a LED that lights up - it basically opens up the box on the II. side of that room.

4: Yes, the professor left using the same portal. I am sure he had some "master key" to operate all the puzzles without touching the well thought out course...

Oh well, I definitely thought of and tried the speed potion in the Mines, but I couldn't make it work... but then it was just my lack of skill I guess. :D But probably I only tried it once or twice, and since the battery-bucket puzzle was similar in the sense that "it appears possible to solve it with the juice but actually it isn't (I've read in a different topic that you patched it so that it can't be used as a workaround), I gave up quite early.

Thanks for the answers! :)
