[bug] Rusty cogwheel vanished from inventory

Hi, wondering if anyone knows what might of happened or a way i can spawn a new cog in or roll back my save.

I've just got to the point when you need to put the rusty cogwheel into the cabinet in the machine room, but the cogwheel has vanished from my inventory. I tried looking where the wheel spawned originally in the mines and also reloading my save file but the wheel is still gone.
