corridor puzzle
I still can´t figure out how to solve the puzzles in the underwater corridor, the image displayed on wall doesn´t help at all. Any hint about to read the wall images? Thanks.

Have you tried mirroring the drawing?
no, how can I do this?

OOOOh I think I got it. Have you checked the pull switch on the ceiling? :)
Yes, I thought it was just an ornament.

I still have no clue how to use the wall images for solving this puzzle, any new hints?

It easier if you watch AfterWork gaming get through the puzzle. He always explains everything so well, that I usually don't even try :D

The puzzle starts around 17:30

I got stuck here also and I hate to admit that some of the puzzles are getting more gimmicky than challenging, which is draining my will to find all the secrets... For now I'll endure

I don't think the corridor navigation puzzle was gimmicky at all.

I think it was one of those that actually were naturally motivated. You could imagine individuals having the need to navigate to different places and needing a way to control their journey.

It took me a moment to figure out what to do with the controls, but the solution was a 100% logical. It is just a matter of perspective, i.e., looking at the drawing the right way.

here is where I stop playing. could not see the solution even after looking up the right combination on the web. And this was not the first time got compleatly stuck at a few places and not due to beeing stupid just not finding random stuff.

I am sorry to hear that you stopped playing. You were pretty close :) I put a picture together explaining the first phase of the puzzle: https://i.imgur.com/j33zFA8.png

The first phase is pretty basic, it teaches you the mechanic you will use in the coming few (more complex) puzzles. I am sure it does not look 'too obscure' and it makes at least some sense when you look at it this way!

I hope you decide to come back and finish the game !

!

ok not sure I understand why I should first mirror the image on the y axis but yes then the drawing makes sens.

the main problem now is that my threshold for looking things up is now so low that it sort of ruins the game. reason for this is that I do not want to wast time on stupid things like..

I got stuck on the vase problem where I had 5 of the 6 and did not understand at all why I could not solve the puzzle.

I never saw the green crystal in the kemistry lab so got stuck there too

missed a box with one part of the circular key (watchtower/white crystal )

You don't have to mirror them, just imagine you are looking at the pipe controllers from the wall's direction. Look at where A is, look at where B is. Which pipe is closest to A? That should be the closest to A on the map, too.

I got stuck on

Its kind of the point to puzzle solving. Figuring out what's going on and what is needed. Missing things is a part of that process until you fully understand what's happening.

Well its not really a puzzle if you dont have all the parts now is it. It's not clear to me how I'm going to figure out that I have not seen a green crystal . or that I did not see that I could open something.

Only if its a simple jigsaw puzzle.

If you were tasked with making something that doesn't exist in any part, you'd have completely the other kind of puzzle, a kind with no pieces.

Either way jigsaw or the latter type, the puzzle is still to find what you need. Obviously with jigsaw, you expect to have all the pieces so you'd feel pretty bummed if one fell out and you missed it.

So I think, you're expecting to easily find all the pieces (and yet the chess related one you didn't get annoyed about and that one should stand out).

That's just how I see it.

My suggestion is to play Myst series by Cyan and rage quit then come back to this lol. Could be a bad suggestion because of the rage quitting however =)

I own most of the cyan stuff (including books). bought MYST when it was released. And I do not remember having a single instance where I actually missed something I could interact with. But Its so long ago I played I really do not remember what problem I had issue with.
