What mouse are you using? Do you have a controller attached? Do you have a controller emulator running?

I am using Windows 10 on my MacBook Pro (Boot Camp). Using Apple Magic Mouse. Grapics on screen are beautiful but way to fast. Bought Window version because lot of games are on PC platform.

The problem is probably caused by your Magic Mouse. Please see if you can disable the mouse's driver. Do you by any chance have an other mouse to try?

I used another apple mouse. No significant change! By the start of the game where you have to choose: load game, start new game, etc. The speed of mouse is normal as in other applications. After loading the game small movements of the mouse result in large movements on the screen.

Have you checked if you have the newest Magic Mouse driver for Win10 installed? You can find lots of forum threads about how to do it.

My Magic mouse works perfect in all other applications! It works fine when it starts Quern. After loading the game (rotating circle) movement of the mouse is disproportional to the finger movement on the screen!!!!! This is not a driver problem. Driver problems occur using a Magic mouse on a HP or other hardware. Apple creates an environment for other OS-systems that recognize the hardware.

Wait, I must have mistunderstood your problem. Are we talking about rubber-banding (the mousespeed slowing down, having a delay etc) or uncontrollably fast movement? The uncontrollably fast movement is caused by driver issues most of the times, or when a controller or controller emulator is attached. Rubber banding is caused by slow performance, when the computer is not running the game well enough and has to slow down a little to render the frames.

Graphics LOW. Now it all works better.

Glad it works better now! You can try changing the resolution to 720p, that helps a lot with performance issues and mouse rubber-banding.

Hi,

I finished Quern and I really, really, enjoyed it. I'm replaying it again for the achievements.

Can you recommend me similar games. Have you done another one yet? Thanks.

Happy Winter solstice and the best for the New Year!

Hey, Quern is our debut title, so no other ones by us. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Myst series (I found Myst and Riven the best), Obduction, Haven Moon, The Room series, The House of Da Vinci, The Eyes of Ara

Bumping this because I found that the mouse and keyboard was actually much more unpleasant than using my Xbox controller.

(Not that the game itself runs any better when using a controller)

But it seems like theres some kind of sluggish screen-lag when using mouse-look and it might seem like a big dip in fps but actually could just the freelook camera going haywire with sloppy input registration. When using the joystick to look around it was noticably smoother.

This isnt related to controller conflicting with the mouse input because I tried looking around with both [x]disable controller on and off. Which made no difference.
