Travel in the open world. You will find shipwrecks along the shoreline and will have part of a blue print and a chance of a treasue map.

Treasure maps you can randomly get from picking up survivors, found on mysterious ships, taking over pirate ships in the open world, sometimes you get a new treasure map when you open your current treasure chest.

Hi! I am looking for some blue chips in open world a lot of mils from towns. Actually I found some blue chips of 1st rate(80%) and war galleon(50%). My fleet is fregate(full upgrade), war galeon(full upgrade) and war ship(full upgrade)

I find that an upgraded Corvette makes the best recon ship for looking for shipwrecks. Does 18 to 22 knots depending on weather conditions. Can outrun any NPC ships, and can outmanevor most bad wind situtuations. Also makes running along the coastline alot quicker. I will run with 2-3 corvettes if I am in the mood to actually capture stuff. Can take out a ship with upto 150 sailors just be going hand on into them and grappling. If a 1st rate could keep up in the open seas I would take it along just to resupply crew.

Now, I do keep a couple of 1st rates and 2nd rates in dock at a 4 star town for when I need to repulse an invastion of my of my pirate bases; but, that is mainly do to the fact that there is likely to be larger ships I need to capture so need more crew.

I've been playing for a good 30 hours and i find this to be the best way.
step 1 = Get a fats ship and upgrade it so it and move faster (i used a brig did like 16knots)
step 2 = Go to any shoreline that is of great length without too many turns (stay out of combat if you what this to be fast and less damaging to the ship) also use the fast forward button
step 3 = have a empty inventory (your choice) so you can get bits of cargo here and there
step 4 = DON"T use a ship like 1st rate or any large ships bigger then a brig (again your choice) because these ships are for big ship fights and dealing hugh amounts of damage plus there very slow

that's that i did for my game NOTE i can almost build any ship but the 1st rate and a few other ships not worth saying.

If your in need of money just upgrade your ports all the way to 6 ( i have 3 ports like that ) and just use the wait days button ( bottom lest arrow head ) and just keep doing that until your warehoues is full, sell everything then travel to your other ports if you have more and do the same thing over a few times, you'll make 1000's in minutes.

Hope this help you out :D
