Eleminating a country

So for 60 min i have tryed to destroy a country which just regains their towns like it's piece of cake.

i take all their towns epect one and then suddenly they take 4 towns in a instant,

*a follow up to people that may have wondered the same* after eleminating 2 countries i confirm it's possible just annoying and takes quite a long time depending on how big the nation you figth is.

So they don't retake their towns after you capture everything of theirs?

No, if you retake every town then they won't retake it. it's like if you pretty much killed every soldier in a army.

the only thing that i find weird is they still attack you while you eleminate their last city, potentially this get's very annoying sometimes they even retake 2-3 cities at a time. eleminating countries like England and big countries proberly get's very hard and time consuming.

That stinks because Spain dont like me any more. Wounder if docked ships at the ports being retaken would have any effect?

Sorry i migth not have understood your question correctly, but if you have docked ships at a city you have taken, and spain retakes it then the ships in that dock won't get lost but as far as i know i don't think you can use them either otherwise you decides to attack the town and take it back.

and if you wish to get spain to like you then you can buy a letter for 2000, which will take your from being a pirate to a sailer in terms of ranks.

I was thinking more port defence with docked ships but I guess not. I was just going to take over spain but im not sure I even want to start now.

Oh, like placing a ship in a dock and when that certain city get's attacked they help defend it?
