I have a feeling that the longer you sail on openworld the higher possibilities of finding better blueprints.
btw. shipwrecks are recognizable, thus I don't even drop the anchor near anything that doesn't have min. 3 masts
There is a civil galleon in the book of ships that travels at 9kns with that cargo limit but civil ships don't have blueprints yet in this game.
So unless you are willing to buy the premium "Black Galleon" for real money in the store, you will need to capture the civil version in the "Open World" or build a lesser cargo capacity military galleon like the 38 gun or 44 gun galleon from blueprints.
Shipwrecks spawn every once in a while while travelling and can respawn if you travel back over an area you have been in before. These will be different wrecks then before, so the blueprints will be different then before too.
Sorry. :-(
I'm not sure why you are telling me this. I have over 300 hours in this game.
Yup, there are no civil ship blueprints.
Yup, the flute (and possibly this mythical 10kn, 3.5k cargo galleon) are the only civil ships worth keeping in the game.
There is a limited use for civil ships with larger cargo capacities early in the game, particularly for a slower player.
Please don't flame me. I was merely answering the question as it was asked, because I felt it needed more clarification. We all have our own playstyle.
