Unlocking American Port

So I just started playing and I have 4 1st rate ships and have finished the story line but still dont have all the ports how do i get them I just want to get the American Ports.

If you look in reputation (which is located in the pause menu), you'll see that they are unlocked by the ingame date. Or at teast that is the impression I get. I'm still waiting for that too >.> They will be my fave targets >:]

Yes you have to progress in competence and dates to be able to get ALL the maps first and
then you can talk of domination but in this game it is you only who will be feared if you can
play whith no allegience to any country as a Pirate and privater
Hoever this got a draw back for the challenges cause you do not get infos for the targets of
the challenges but as a real Pirate this is not really difficult you can change you uniform and
then stab them in the back

Go back and forth across the map over and over as far, and as many times as you feel like. Notice it tells you how long the voyage will be. Also in the bottom left corner each time you port you'll see a date 12 Xl 1769.
That's the twelfth day, of the 11th month, year 1769. Each time you cross the map, you should be able to kill 30 days , and 3 hours until you open more areas of the map. Be careful, you have to pay the crew everytime, and it takes forever, but that's how you do it.
