Where to buy the map of Puerto Rico?

I am at the beginning of of the game, have three nice schooners, dug up a treasure, defeated two pirates (game events) and now the task to do is to go north and buy the map of Puerto Rico. Problem is that have no idea where to buy it, looked at the discussion and searched several sites. I have the feeling it may be one of the obvious things that nobody bothers to tell but I am now kind of stuck in North America because of that.

you have to buy it from the SHOP. It will cost you in your "coins" NOT real money. I thinks its like 1000 or 2000. I don't remember. But the more maps you "buy," in the progression of the game, the more coins you need. some are 7-10K. and more. Might be a good time to set you up a coin farm to make some ready cash. Watch the video on youtube. COIN FARM. I don't do it quite the way he does, but it will give you the jest. Feel free to ask all the questions you have. Someone on here will help the best they can. Have you the captain skill to board and take a ship? BTW you need that skill and a fairly large vessel with hands to fight and capture said vessel to sail it away to a LARGE port, where you can start your coin farm after you strip the captured boat of all items and transfer the crew back to your ship. Just be sure to transfer the crew. You don't have to, nor want to, leave them on the captured vessel. If you are in need of said larger vessel, I would be happy to send you a Fully maned and rigged MOW, W/ 280 crew members, as well with all the upgrades done, for your Pirating Adventures. I just need your account name or e-mail that you are using for the game, and I will send it right out. There are a lot of stuff you have to figure out as you go along in this game. I have a couple hundred hours of play, and find out something new all the time.
