I have discovered only 12 hidden ports and do a lot of open world but in some cases I could not sail up the river. I will try discover all ports (12/20 now)

When i did it a reset to my account occured and i lost everything starting from scratch. I deleted the game but i started again via Steam. Upgrades here are often adding many features to the game. What happens is upon the devs.:steamhappy:

The Steam Corvette is a Premium ship (has to be purchased) outside of that, not sure if there's another way to get one. I have read around and it seems a regular Corvette has better firepower. It's a neat looking ship, dunno if I'd buy one.

The Steam Corvette isn't a premium ship, the Le Sphinx is the premium ship.I've heard people that the blueprints of the Steam Corvette can be found in Open World but after a certain year(1824 i think).

I was under the impression Le Sphinx was the only in-game steam ship, my mistake.

I've hit a shallow spot in all the rivers I've sailed this far. You can get past them. Hit the >> and steer back and forth. When you hit the right spot the next scene loads and a navagable channel appears.
