Vita release?
Is there any chance of a PS Vita release? Considering that this is originally a PS Vita game, and that there are five Idea Factory otome visual novels coming to the platform exclusively next year, it may be worth the financial risk localising it for that platform?

I am personally interested in this visual novel, but cannot see myself playing it on my PC and would prefer being on a portable.

I hope there would be. I'd definitely want all my otome games on a PSV if possible. But it looks like they have no plans to release it on Vita... :/

If they did put it on the Vita then they'd have to weigh digital only VS offering a physical release and most people want a physical release then because gaming devices tend to run low on space.

Limited Run Games could do this for them if they release a digital download on PSN. Reduces risk.

Failing that, XSEED said they may have an otome to sign. Maybe it could be the Vita version of this game.

I wish they'd release a physical copy instead of digital. :/ If I've understood correctly, downloading games on Vita takes a lot of space from a memory card. I'd prefer to only have the save data there, not whole games.

Wow, that'd be awesome if they did! :D
D3, can you please answer my question about whether the Vita version will be localised?

I would love this on Vita as well. Even if they have to do a limited run, sold only through their website physical copy sort of thing. I've been really getting into these games lately and I prefer having something physical on my shelf :/ Especially since Vita almost seems made for these sorts of games lately :D

I fully agree with you about the physical copy! :D Besides, it'd be nice to have a collection of PHYSICAL otome games, instead of just in a PC's library.

I would be fine with a physical release on either Vita or PC (if only so Ozmafia isn't the only AA otome to get a physical release there). I would prefer Vita for the portability factor.

Failing that, there's always the possibility of a fan patch happening.

What are the other releases for the Vita? I know of 4 of them. I know Bad Apple Wars, Collar X Malice, Period:Cube, and the fan disc for Code:Realize.

There's the remake of Hakuouki, named Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds. It'll be released next month.
Kenka Bancho Otome and it's fandisc also stand a chance of being announced as well, as they won Spike Chunsoft's poll.

Alos IFI said they plan to release the second half of the Hakuoki remake later on. Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds is the first half.

Any news on a PSvita port in english? It feel strange to not have an originally PSvita game translated first on the native console and only his port... I've recently buyed a PSvita and quite frankly I find more comfortable to play VN there than on PC or PS4...

It's probably too late now for Nightshade on Vita, unfortunately. Aside from XSEED's rumoured otome localisation, it'll very likely be all Idea Factory otome on Vita now especially as Vita is pretty much irrelevant now outside of otome.

Had D3 or a third party released it themselves on the platform timely, things may have been different.
