Amnesia's Kent has a similar slow burn but healthy feel, it's probably the only route I liked in that game tbh lol.
Do you have a Vita or can read japanese?
No, I do not unfortunately and my Japanese is very limited. I need to brush up orz
Thank you for the reminder!
EDIT: I plan on getting a Vita eventually so if you have any recommendations, I'd love some!
Another recommendation: "Queen's Gambit". It's from Voltage and REALLY good. MC is a badass spy who kicks ass. You buy the routes separatly, and I only recommend this game for the route with MC's best friend and partner. It has everything you're looking for: a healthy and realistic relationship and characters that develop through the story. Expect lots of action, mistery and explosions. There's other 3 routes, one woman and two men. The other two men were... MEH, I wouldn't pay for them. The woman's route seems interesting enough, but I didn't play hers so I don't know.
Awesome, thank you so much! I'm excited to try them out~
I cant think of one exactly like it but you should check Re:Birthday song out, its been fan translated and theres a couple of intense routes on theres that remind of of Hanzo :3
If you have a Vita I'd also recommend Victor's route in Code: Realize. He's so sweet and it's a healthy relationship. Ahh, I love him. u 3u
Sounds great~ thank you
Hakuouki also has some "good endings/developed relationships" - but *which* ones qualify tend to depend on the person you're talking to. I loved Saito's route for this, myself, but opinions vary. (When in doubt, and tired of angst and drama, I write my own. Sometimes, you just need to, you know?) Collar x Malice (PS Vita) is a little trickier. A game where I liked the main/final route best, I think.
As for the suggestions, I agree that Kent's route in Amnesia, and Victor's inCode Realize are of a similar vein to Hanzo's. If you want a feel good but a relatively more shallow experience (meaning, there's not much in the way of character development but just pure good vibes), you could try Tokimeki Girls' Side 3 -- almost all the routes there are nice, but I would personally vouch for Ruka and Kouichi, since they're the main characters and thus, have the most interesting plotlines.
