Reccomended Route Order?

does anybody know if there's a reccomended order to be playing the routes, or does the order not really matter?

Some reviews of the game I read before it was localized say the best order is Goemon -> Hanzo -> Kuroyuki -> Chojiro-> Gekkamaru in that order.

EDIT: I've finished and I recommend this order -
Hanzo > Chojiro > Gekkamaru > Goemon > Kuroyuki.

I guess it really depends on people.
They are share the same plot so you just see it from different perspectives, so in my opinion, play it the way you want it.

After almost finishing Hanzo's route, I would recommend you not to play it the first, leave it for one of the last lol

I've played Hanzo > Goemon > Kuroyuki for now and... LEAVE KUROYUKI FOR ONE OF THE LAST IF NOT THE LAST. I've read somewhere that Gekkamaru is the "canon" so I want to play him last (also they say his route is the best). Hanzo was my first because I love that man, it's the best character and his route is so healthy, ah... best couple ever. Sorry, I'm going off topic...

so far I've done Gekkamaru and Goemon's routes, and plan to play in the order of Gekkamark > Goemon > Chojiro > Hanzo >Kuroyuki. Honestly, Gekkamaru's route left a bad taste in my mouth especially considering what happens to a lot of the side characters. out of the two i've done so far I prefered Goemon's route a lot more.

I heard Gekkamaru's route should be left for last and that it's pretty much an angstfest so I'm definately going to leave it for last. I have a feeling on what might happen based from people's reactions so yeah... I don't want to start with his route just yet.

If you do not want to suffer that much save Goemon for in between
Chounii and Gekkamaru since Goemon route is pretty light.

His route was a roller coaster of bittersweet feelings... and the ending gives so much information about the story that I would say you should know last.

I enjoyed Hanzo route, but it was too predictable. Anyone know how old is he?

Gekkamaru route's was angsty just right and the tragedy satisfied my drama thirst XD. I was surprised when they revealed the whole true: about him, about the murder of Toyotomi...

I am sure Kuroyuki and Choijiro will feed me with some more drama, so I've decided to put Goemon between them. I need his libertine - Lupin style XD.
Plus he is one of my favourites.

I played Chojiro's route first because I've read tt's the best decision but it was grim and heavy, lots of info that might be important for the main plot. I think I should have done Goemon's route first, he's more laid back and seems to be the least connected to the main events.
The best advice is always to play main boys last, aka Gekkamaru.

I played Hanzo first which was pretty good (I liked Hanzo more than I thought I would) and then played Chojiro followed by Kuroyuki. I have yet to finish the other two but WOW. After Hanzo's route Chojiro's caught me off guard to say the least! Haha and after Chojiro I thought I was prepared for whatever Kuroyuki's route threw at me (and I was so so wrong!!! Lol I was caught off guard again.) Without spoiling anything all I am going to say is there is a reason why people are saying Kuroyuki should be one of the last! Things get pretty dark!

With my calculations... He said that he left the Iga's when he was 12 and if I am not wrong, somewhere in the middle he says that it had been 20 years since he left so it makes him around 32-34 years old.

Personally, I didn't like the good ending of Hanzo... Not being able to be a shinobi anymore because of his hand made me really sad...

I read somewhere that he's 32, I think.

Enju: 16
Gekkamaru: 19
Kuroyuki: 16
Chojiro: 23
Hanzo: 33
Goemon: 26

The recommended route order per that page was Hanzo > Chojiro > Goemon > Kuroyuki > Gekkamaru

I just played Chojiro's route and his route is VERY different from Hanzo, Goemon and Kuroyuki. The whole plot changes. I THINK his plot is similar to Gekkamaru, so my recommended order would be: Goemon (all is sunshine and you learn nothing), Hanzo (best love story, healthy relationship and you learn a bit about Enju's past), Kuroyuki (NOT a healthy relationship, but oh well... HUGE spoilers from other routes, but you saw it coming...), Chojiro (greek tragedy, the plot changes, you will suffer) and Gekkamaru (I didn't play YET, but everyone says he's the canon, so...).
