Mail Increase Amount

Howdy, loving the game but I'm a stuck in this not so sweet spot right now. I'm not quite sure how the mailing increase or decreasing system works. I will go from being on default and having 2+ hours remaining each day, but when I increase it by the slightly setting it quickly gets out of control. I had half a full stack of letters appear all at once. After day 3ish my stack almost always hits max height, and I'm not even messing with the boxes (not worth the time or money to do them). No subs in a game that should really have it.
Puzzles are not intuitive and the rules for how some puzzles work aren't always consistent.
Wish I'd realized this sooner. Would totally refund otherwise.

Wrinkle books gone, can I get one back?

I eagerly packaged and posted every book to the library, is there a way to get a new purple wrinkle book? I don't think I can progress properly unless I start looking up guides online.

Did I just screw myself over?

As an act of *rebellion* against Liv, I decided to shred everything I could. Including things i should not have. I thought that they would respawn at the end of the week, but I appear to be wrong. I shredded the black bulb and the two guidebooks by packaging them first and putting them in the shredder. I did this BEFORE listening to and decoding the morse code on the radio, which tells you that you need the bulb. . Did I softlock myself?...

Drawers puzzle

Both the ones with the number inside and the ones in the desk I cannot solve them. The first one I tried all the combination (opening following the numbers inside, reverse order, top to bottom, bottom to top...) but nothing, every time it tells me that "a misterious sequence reset" or something like that. Any clues? I tried also crouching on the right and opening them like I saw someone write in another post but nothing works......

The game is fun, the postal mechanics even by themselves are enjoyable and when you throw in all the random puzzle solving and mysteries and character interactions it turns into a probably recommend to a definitely recommend.

Only complaint:
If you are afraid of spiders, don't tell the game you're afraid of spiders.
