HEAVILY CENSORED? or normal?
I mean I hate it when Japanese games get censored because of a few people afraid of their own testicles...

: the system or practice of censoring books, movies, letters, etc.


Practice of censoring gotcha. So what is a censor?

Simple Definition of censor
: to examine books, movies, letters, etc., in order to remove things that are considered to be offensive, immoral, harmful to society, etc.

Part of localization for the west often involves censoring that is to say censoring is part of localization. Stop being dense. Don't care if the guy is a troll some people are brain dead.

Some just want a translation and no that does not mean the script has to be boring and mundane. Translation efforts can include altering the structure of sentences so they work for a westerner. It's when you change aspects of the script like references and jokes that you move into localization territory.

PQube has not had to censor their games. They didn't censor Valkyria Drive: Bhikkunni. And that game has you doing lewd yuri things to other girls.

A lot of censoring tends to come from the publishers who cowtow to the offended and hire do-nothing ranbow hairs to localise the game.

It's PQube's highest priority to not censor their games, and frankly, there is nothing that needs to be censored here.

A rule ya'll can pretty much follow:
If the publisher is either, PQube, Idea Factory, Xseed or Marvelous Europe, it's 99,99% uncensored (Xseed removes ages but that's about it, and IFI stated that they will simply not localize a game if censorship would be needed to pass the ministry of youth protection).

That seems kind of random.
Unless it was done because of liscences because of how music is in Japan.
That's a possibility.

I think that's a bug. In an earlier thread the dev responded to a user pointing this out, and saying they'd "look into it".
