The game is dead, you can't play online, R.I.P Tactical Intervention

I played this game years ago, cool game with an innovative idea. It's basically like a singleplayer campaign but in a multiplayer game. You had action movies scenarios in a 10 vs 10 game.

One of my favoruite maps was the one where you had to escort de VIP (one of the players was the VIP and he only had a pistol) with the car while your security cars were attacked by a terrorist group, the other 10 players. You would basically shoot & drive in the traffic until you reached the airport. Once the airport was reached, your goal was to protect the VIP and escort him until he can enter the plane and leave the country or something.

It was such an innovative idea, where as most games are 10 vs 10 in a standard arena, this one had a scenario and story. It truly was a Tactical Intervention.

Unfortunately, the servers are down and you can't make a private or local server like CS:GO, so the game is basically dead. Great game, so long partner.

How? the authentification servers doesn't work. You're stuck in a "waiting for authentification" screen.

If this was a game that had no authentification servers and had peer to peer connection we could have revived it, but with the current state of the game it's impossible even if you want to.

i'm not sure, someone could reverse engineer the whole server process or build an auth server from the ground up, i've seen NFSW close down and return as is without the source code.

Maybe it's not a bad time to dream.

It's also not a bad time to get a copyright claim for stealing the work of the developers. The only hope we have is if the developers themselves remove the authentificator and switch to peer to peer connection, otherwise, it's stealing their property.

Everybody who had installed it at least once a long time ago, is still able to reinstall it, because everyone still has access to the Free to Play package, It's hidden from the store, and new people are unable to install it, but if you installed it (even if you never played, but clicked on the button once) You have access to it.
