Progression Issue

Great idea. My kid absolutely loves the game. Or used to anyway.

Since the last update, things look a lot better but every time she logs in, she goes through the tutorial, unlocks the food dish, the box, etc. The cat gets tired or seems to... it just has a colored progression bubble line over its head and doesn't seem to want to do anything. But when she comes back the next day, she has to start over from the beginning of the tutorial bit.

She had a bunch of stuff unlocked, but came to terms with the fact that she had to start from scratch. But she can't seem to progress past the tutorial now.

Anyone have any tips? Something she might be missing? Anyone else experiencing the same sort of thing?

Hi Tony, you need to finish the tutorial first before the normal progression starts.
During the tutorial, everything the kitten does has no impact on your real savegame. As soon as the tutorial is done (or siwtched off) the original save game is active again.

You can also manually switch off the tutorial by going to the options menu (the shed) and pressing the tutorial button (in the left corner, hold kitten 3 seconds there to confirm).

I have the opposite question. I bought this game for my granddaughter and started exploring just to see if it's appropriate for her. But now I want to reset all progress, so she can start from scratch. Is there the equivalent of "Start New Game", or did I just miss it? I want to make sure it's reset to the point of first time launch. Viele liebe Grüsse aus den USA.

Unfortunately not really.
The only way to reset the game is, to navigate the user data on Windows to
Users\[Username]\AppData\LocalLow\FusionPlay\Konrad the Kitten - a virtual but real cat

deleting the "Konrad the Kitten - a virtual but real cat" folder in this directory resets the savegame.
