Simple Lighting??? HELP PLEASE
So i bought this game on my brothers steam and when i played the game i realized that i was having HORRIBLE fps during entrances...I had this problem in 2k16 too but for 2k16 i went to the config file and turned on the simple lightings and the entrances were running perfectly without any lags at very high resolution. So i changed the simple lighting inside the wwe 2k17 to on but it didn't work ! There are still lightings everywhere abd they are ruining my gaming experience...It seems that the game won't turn the simple lighting on even if i go to config file and change it to ON. Please my friends help me if there is a way...i really wanna enjoy this game...sorry for bad english...

I'd like to help you, but ...
Now I may not be able to understand this question.
Is it the lighting of the
player?
Or maybe the resolution of the 2K 17 games,
Are you referring to setting display options?

I am talking about the lighting of the arena , you know when seth comes its red and yellow that keeps flashing or full blue lighting in AJ Styles' entrance. This is what drops my fps. Last year i had the same problem and fixed it by going wwe 2k16's config file and turning simple lighting on. This deleted all those entrancr lightings with giving me 80+ fps So in 2k17 i tried the same but it's not working...

In the case of fps

Depending on your computer's performance can vary a lot.

2K16 and 2k17 in game,

Due to differences in computer's performance in need.
Should not compare the two games of the fps.

Once
The lowest spec the option display in the game it would be looking to the recommended.

but
In when you play the game.
Appearance scene lighting in accordance with the graphics card if we differ a good change fps, could be problem.
Appearance scene from options, recommend that the entrances.

One of the things you need to know
It varies according to computer specifications.
Follow the instructions on the computer specifications.
Rather than during the game,
Because I need more computer specifications in deungjangsin.
Such a phenomenon may be happening.

Graphics card,
950m
Your personal computer
If you are a desktop computer,
2k17 games are lower or similar compared to those of the desired computer's minimum specifications.
But your computer is not working
In case of notebook
It is deemed to be lower than the minimum specification required.

And your computer
32 bit?
64 bit?
The difference between this and the latter can not be crossed either.

That's a laptop.

This game is memory hungry. 4GB RAM is not enough.

I'd change the config.ini so it looks like this:

[advanced]
FXAA = off
MSAA = off
vsync = off

[quality]
audience_density = 50
audience_tessellation = off
depth_of_field = on
motion_blur = off
shadows = on
simple_lighting = on
texture_quality = 0

[rate]
denominator = 1000
numerator = 60000

[resolution]
height = 1080
width = 1920
window_height = 720
window_width = 1280

[window]
windowed = no

Well resolution depends on what your laptop can handle...

The problem is not about the whole gameplay okay? I get 55- 60 fps during TAG TEAM matches. What im trying to say is the lighting during entrances are making me have fps drops. I really really care about entrances so when it stutters like hell during the entrance it annoys me like hell.. like i said gameplay is perfectly fine. I had the same problem last year but i fixed it by changing the simple lighting to ON. In wwe 2k17 i do the same thing but it doesn't work.the lightings are still there. That's what im looking for a solution.

Had a similar problem when I first played. In the ring it was fine, but everywhere else was very choppy. After many tests, It helped that I made the game windowed, and turned off Vsync, and Shadows. I think the culprit is Shadows honestly. When characters are on the entrance ramp a spotlight shines on characters creating another shadow map the game has to keep track off, albiet at a diffrent angle. Turning it off just removes the character shadow maps, so there's nothing for the game to keep track of aside from natural shadows. My guess is that when they were making this they didn't properly test this system, but that might not be the case. Im sure there's people who didnt have this problem. Hope this helped anyway OP.
