Can i change the keyboard controls ?

Yes i am able to change it but it only lasts for that particular session.
Once i close and restart later, it is automatically back to default settings.. any help? xo

Yes you can! Go to input settings and hit enter on the button you want to change than hit the button you want to set it to :)

Shouldn't go back to default. After changing all keys did you confirm with "space" or did you hit "esc"?

I did hit space to 'accept' the changes. but everytime i open the game it is being set to default. I have to change them every single time i open the game.,

try verifying the game cache
