It baffles me that this was a feature in WWE '13 and they dont have it in 2K17.

well this feature isn't in the console versions. hope we get a chance to mod some in soon once we get the tools to do it.
ive stated this in countless 2k16 custom music forums, we need one, big, dedicated PC WWE game that is based off of 2K17 and 18's engines and features, have PROPER mod support to allow custom entrance music, entrance videos and wall/header/minitrons, use Valve's SFM to create custom entrance animations and pyrotechnics/lighting/camera angle via the pose to pose and live record feature, some form of import ability to allow custom hair and ring/entrance/backstage attires. This NEEDS to be completely seperate from the consoles though as consoles have thier HDD's bricked which is why we dont have custom music anymore (except for MLB: The Show, ALSO MADE BY 2K IF IM NOT MISTAKEN...)

Its completely absurd this feature was taken out. There is no reason for it.

Only reason I can see would be licenses problems.

But yeah, modder figured it out for 2k16 as well, so I hope it won't take too long until my guy can come out to "Progenies of the Great Apocalypse" again.

Thats ridiculous. This actually is preventing me from buying the game.

Well, it isn't for WWE or 2K; they don't risk a lawsuit from music companies... Plus: this is an Xbox One port; they can't, so we can't.

Yeah...I mean by now they let you edit and customize pretty much everything from the wrestlers to the venues to the freaking titantron videos...only the music is missing for whatever reasons.

MLB: The Show is Playstation only and by Sony Interactive Entertainment

There is not enough money in it so that will never happen. Let's face it: We can be happy to get a PC port in the first place.

there will be if they market it like TF2 or Overwatch, preiodic updates so the game is no longer outdated AF when it releases every october and only Major stuff is paid content. Cheaper for 2K to develop 1 big game and maintain it periodically for updates, dlcs, and occasional bug fixes/stupid cool feature removals than overworking themselves each year and constantly release yearly glitch fests... Plus the one game option allows for more flexible development time.

In theory that is something a lot of companies want to do, but it is very hard to pull off for mainly single player games. Paradox does it with their strategy games, but apart from that I don't know that many games that accomplish it.

EA could do it for Fifa and Madden as well, yet they do the "one new game per year", probably to have a nice reason to delete all the FUT content for the new version, so players have to buy everything again.
