Overall it's pretty good, but as a previous PS player i think the console versions have more dedicated caw creators, probably because it's only been on PC for 3 years and i think the player base on PC is much smaller than on consoles. Still, not bad.
Mods i don't know, i'v seen some online to download but never tried it.
The community CAWs are also really good (at least most of them)
Also is the sound editor free? and easy to use? :o
You can't upload songs to community creations. All song mods are client side only meaning only you get to hear them. Same with video mods. Your opponent will see/hear whatever their game is defaulted to (or that they replaced with mods).
Sound editor is free. As long as the song you want is already converted it's easy. I would say it's easy to convert but I'm no stranger to converting audio for mods or programs.
Thanks, i'v only put songs into my WWE game on the xbox 360 which was easy back then :D
Hmm, converting the song to the proper format shouldn't be all to hard i think unless it's some weird format. I think the hardest for me would be to find the correct names, files in the game data itself :o
I'll probably look into it, as i'd like to have a lot of the 80s and 90s wrestlers in 2k17 in some shape or form either as caws or modded wrestlers, and having their videos and music would help a lot on them being more authentic :D
You're welcome. The majority of the songs you want are probably already converted. But there's probably a few here and there that haven't been converted yet. Video replacing is much easier. You don't even need to convert unless you're making you're own. But either way you take the video file and drag and drop it into the right dir then allow it to overwrite. Someone was working on a way to replace the custom videos (as in the ones you can make in-game as entrance videos) with premade official ones, but I'm not sure how far they got. For now you can replace any entrance video you want. Given that tag team wrestlers have their own entrance video files there's a lot of potential to replace.
