Capture enemy command post?

I landed a troop transport on an enemy command post, trying to capture it. However, all of my clones just stood there like turds, letting the defences mow them down. Not one of them fired a single shot.
Im i doing something wrong? or is there a reason i cant capture an enemy command post?

Hey, so you need to get them into a control room. 1 Troop transport wont be enough to take a outpost might need 2 or 3. In the control room is a control point. If you look at the industrial invade tutorial its shows you how to capture it :)

Thanks, but the problem is that none of my troops fire on the outpost defences!
They just stand there taking fire without attacking the turrets.
Is this a bug?
