Report a translation problem
1. Pickup and fly back to goods factory to drop of on 'crate inserter"
2. Load into vehicle, by pressing I while flying, then moving to ship/station
The Spy Faction didn't have any Transport Ship, was trying to look for it. Had to rely entirely on Teleport function of theirs. Not sure about Science, but i have chosen to ignore them for now. But i DID find out that the AI as Science Faction managed to capture a Neutral Outpost, which indicates i SHOULD be able to do the same.
Science has gate ships that deploy gateways from which troops at home base can enter the portal to seamlessly enter the new location through the gateway. To send troops back simply give a move order to the portal back to base.
Industrial has dropships which work like you expect. They have the longest time to get their stuff back since the troops must board the dropship then come back.
Are they at your home base? Otherwise the command does nothing. You have to recall them first to your home base if playing as the spy faction or industrial.
Edit: NVM this sounds more like a bug. You might have to manually drop off the items via direct control and taking them to a crate offload area.
Yeah. I have not tried using Direct Control, yet. I'll try so next time when playing Spy Faction. Thanks for the suggestion!
If your using the troop transport (industrial) you can load it into the troop transport, fly it back to either the trade port or a outpost. Once landed click on the "manage" at the bottom or if your flying press "I" and drag the cargo into the HQ inventory.
