How do you load troops into executron transport?

Make sure you have a group of them following you with the F key before getting in.

I figured it out. Is there a way to send them to a position? I want them to go through doors where the enemy is instead of me. I have to hurry up, run into the room while being shot at with direct hits, hit G for them to guard and then run out the room. Sometimes they wont even engage. When they do engage, they retreat while shooting and moves out of enemy view and stand there.

Yes , there is a key for this. CTRL+k if i remember ( or a combination like this )
