Report a translation problem
When upgrading weapons on the station, only The core portion will get upgraded to new weapons. All other stations that have been built on to the court will have the starter projectile weapon.
In defending the base, The continuous issue of base guns hitting the shields of other portions of the station is annoying and not helpful in base defense.
As far as hitting the shield hitboxes, this only seems to happen if you are fighting smaller ships like drones/fighters. The larger ships won't caues this behavior.
Learning that weapons are set on the outpost builder is new, and i thank you for informing us.
Although they are the same type of weapon, heavy mounts increase the damage alot.
Also this thread is about station modual weapons setup, there is no issue with ship weapon selection at this time to my knoledge
