"Immediately switch to the One's perspective. Use the "Someone Requires Help" command on the diagrams of the Companion on the wall. Head right towards the hallway and use your "Validate the Companion" command. Continue to the right and use "Validate the Companion" on the human at reception. Finally, head back left to the robot suspended above the barrel of acid. Use "Validate the Companion" again here.
Head back right to the Brig Manifest and use "The Companion must Confront her Violator". Use your newest command on the suit lying on the desk in the room to the left. A cutscene will follow."
This does not work for me. I have validated every !@#@!#!@ object in the whole set of rooms. All I get on the robot is 'all synthetic life has value' from the hanging robot. All I get from the brig is 'detaining corruption is judicious'. !@#!@#!@#!@#@!#!@#!@#
Interactions can change depending on the text displayed when hovered over (from various perspective switches as well as progression in mission), direction you are looking at the interaction and other small factors.
This is there to keep the realism, as in reality the AI's perspective would change based on the current missions progress, so it makes sense. Considering this is one of those puzzle games that doesn't hold your hand lol it can give you a bit of a headache if you can't progress (or miss things that are apparent yet for some odd reason you missed it).
TIPS:
- Companion - At no point should her happiness level reach 5, the point of the mission is to make her realize her emotions (depression), thus the point is to reduce the happiness level to 0.
To do this you need to interact with specific objects that will obviously reduce her happiness, this can be displayed through the text when you highlight an interaction. The text changes based on her changing happiness level. So there's actually only 3 object to interact with and each is interactable after you interact with the previous object :P
So it has an order and the appropriate actions appear when you do it in that order.
- Butler - the butler can only be completed once you complete the companion missions and fully access her perspective, then you can use her completed perspective on the butler to finish his missions.
These are just some of the things most puzzle games have but this game does take it to a whole new level, which can be pretty cool if you are into that (like a challenge) and do progress (which can feel good :3 )
I'm sure you can make progress, keep on tinkering.
