Pony Island looks cool, Inscryption Act 1 is amazing
This game artstyle makes me wanna not buy it
The Artstyle is ugly on purpose, it’s all in service of the story. Seriously play it, the story is mind blowing
Also, no big youtubers seemed to have played The Hex, which may play a role.
I agree that The Hex is the best one of the three, (for now, at least)
Start of the game has a lot of dialog to sift through and the dialog system is easily one of the roughest parts. Was pretty common for me to start dialog I didn't need to see again and get stuck waiting for it to conclude to progress with starting more dialog with someone else. The text speed in the options menu is not a great solution sadly as sometimes I need the dialog to stay on screen a bit longer. I feel letting a button push control the text speed or instantly fill the current dialog box would be a very nice addition and go a long way to make the game feel more user friendly. Gameplay sections feel really good, so I'd rather speak praise to anything else besides the text based dialog system.
The game could use a tweak to the text based dialog system to leave a better first impression.
