Will there be a sequel to the game? (With another story or development to that one)

"Inscryption" (A game by the same developer,) isn't really a sequel, but due to some things in it, it feels like it (kind of) is a sequel.
Inscryption isn't a sequel, and it plays much differently from The Hex, but it takes place after the events of The Hex. I think it is the closest thing we are going to get to a sequel.

All of Daniel's games share the same universe, so by technicality Inscryption is the sequel and Pony Island is the prequel

It seems that pony island 2 will be more in line with the Hex then Inscryption
