Stuck on Vicious Galaxy II

Did the bullet hell sequence, went with Junior, did his sequence, and now I'm on the other side doing the bit with the sniper rifle. The guy I'm with (I missed his name) said I'd need to shoot out some locks to open the door, but I can't figure out what he's talking about. I have shot every single thing in this building, gone outside, come back and tried again. Is it bugged, or am I missing something obvious?

Figured it out, and I'll leave the answer here for anyone who comes later: You need to scope in and then navigate past your normal field of vision using the WASD keys. Normal mouselook won't do it. The locks you need to shoot are blinking lights offscreen.

Not necessary as after a while Jay actually tells you to use WASD.

He actually only tells in once. If you miss that piece of dialogue, you'll never hear it again, not even if you reload. It wasn't a very intuitive part of the game.

Yeah, that's what happened to me. But I still got it in the end, and after that everything was straightforward. It was the only time the game stopped me cold.
