How to free Vallamir?

I've played through Rust's story several times, I know he finds one of Vallamir's henchmen or some sort, but I just can't find them and the hammer no matter where I look. I have ideas of where to look for the hammer after Rust finds it, but I just can't see it anywhere actually in his flashbacks.

There is a subtly hidden overworld tile. Look at the edge of your screen just before entering the radioactive city.

hi, so I got to the lamia as Rust, but she says I am not worthy. This could be because I did it from the chapter select, what have I got to do to "be worthy"?

Maybe you need to talk to Vallamir as Rust first before Waste World, if you haven't already. Other than that I don't know.

I was able to get the hammer in Waste World just fine. Anyone know what I'm supposed to do next? Also, do I actually need to finish Rust's chapter after finding the hammer, or can I use the chapter select?

you need to go to the FPP chapter, it should be right outside the inn to the left. I don't think you need to finish the chapter, but you might want to wait for the next 'autosave'.
